Conner's Blessing Day

Conner got blessed on Sunday the 14th by his daddy. It was such a great day and we had so much support from family and friends. Conner looked so cute and even though he was getting hungry he was a good sport and we managed to keep him happy through the blessing and a few pictures. Tyler was so cute he was running around from grandparent to grandparent making sure he got attention from all of them. It was a last minute thing so thank you everyone who took time out of your day to come be with us.

Tyler is such a toddler!

Last Monday Tyler decided it would be fun to put his potty seat on his head and well it didn't end up to be so much fun for him. It got stuck around his neck and it was so funny at first and then I realized it was stuck! Very stuck!! So I buttered him up and nothing it was no use, it wouldn't fit over his head. So I called my mom to see what to do and she decided to come in to help me get it off. We greased him up even more with vaseline and still nothing so we had to call my dad and he had to come with metal cutters and cut the stinkin thing off!! By the time we got it off Ty was mad and very ready for a nap!

 

 

 

 

Conner is 1 month old!!

Will the crazyness ever end!

Ever since Tyler was born his left eye has been watery so tomorrow he has to go in and have a minor procedure where they stick a probe down into his tear duct to open it up. I have been so excited to get it over with so his poor eye would quite bothering him and i thought we were finally done with all surgeries and procedures. Well i was wrong! I took Ty to the dentist today because I could never get his teeth to look clean and it was so frustrating! The dentist decided he has 4 cavities starting because of how his teeth have come in there is no way to keep them completely clean with just brushing. Also the pediasure he has to drink has lots of sugar and he loves juice so that doesn't help and since he had acid reflux it caused damage to his teeth. Tyler will haveone last procedure (we hope!!) and he has to go to the hospital and have general anesthesia and get his teeth fixed because he has had traumatic experiences and wont let anyone near his mouth. So on December 16Th that will be done and with any luck he will be able to go a few years without and procedures or surgeries!!

Conner's 3 weeks old!!

Conner is 3 weeks old today and he is so tiny and cute, he is doing pretty well but for some reason my boys don't like to gain weight! We were constantly having weight checks for Tyler for the past two years and now its all starting again with conner. He was 6lbs 10oz when he was born and as of yesturday he was 5lbs 13oz! I feel so bad that he has lost weight but we are now supplementing with formula so hopefully he will start to get bigger. Everyone that see's my boys says they could be twins just two years apart and they all say that they are deffinetly case boys, they look just like their daddy which is fine with me!

Tyler has a new baby brother!!!

Conner Cecil Case was born today at 12:58 pm. He was 6 lbs. 10 oz. and 18 1/2 inches long. He has brownish/blonde hair and is so adorable. He looks just like Tyler. I will try to keep this blog updated of anything new.

Getting Induced!!

Well unfortunately my due date got changed the October 28th which is 12 days later than it originally was. But the good news is I am getting induced on Thursday the 23rd so sometime that afternoon we should have a cute new baby boy!! Sandy is going to post some pictures and we will let everyone know how is goes!

Little Tyty

Tyler is 22 months old and weighs 18.5 lbs. He is finally wearing 12-18 month clothes and we always have to take him to the doctor for weight checks but he is at such a fun and destructive age! He learns new things everyday and he can understand so much of what I say even though he can't talk yet. He can always find his sippy cup and he loves to throw his diapers away for me. Just yesterday he discovered where the spatulas and measuring cups are and they are his new favorite toys. He is the most active kid! If he isn't sleeping he is always running and jumping and getting into everything, he wears me out!

Lagoon and Hogle Zoo Trip

This summer we took a family trip and spent the weekend in Utah to go to Lagoon and Hogle Zoo. It was so hot but so much fun. Drew, Seth and Nick loved the rides and we couldn't keep them off of them. Tyler and Luke also loved the little kids rides, Tyler would have ridden the rides all day if he could have. My Dad and I couldn't ride the rides so we hung out with the kids so the other adults could ride the rides but it was still so fun hanging out as a family. The next day we went to Hogle Zoo and the kids liked the animals and loved the carousel. Drew was like a kid again taking forever to watch every animal we came across.

Tyler's Surgeries

Tyler was born with a cleft palate which is a hole in the roof of his mouth. In August of 2007 Tyler was 9 months old and had his first surgery at Primary Children's Hospital. The Doctor had to stretch the tissues in his mouth as far as he could but they couldnt get the hole completely closed so they had to put a prosthesis in to cover the hole. Tyler had his second surgery in April of 2008 when he was 18 months old, once again we had to go down to Primary Children's. His second surgery took about twice as long and they were able to completely close the hole by stitching the muscles together and then the tissues on top of the muscles. He had two layers of stitches from his teeth the back of his mouth and it took about 8 weeks until he was fully recovered. Now he is doing great and can eat anything he wants, he still isn't talking but he is making a lot more sounds and he understands alot so hopefully soon!
